Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes permitted and prohibited conduct on BetGenie (“we,” “us,” or “our”), your betting intelligence platform for MLB, NBA, and NFL. It supplements our Terms & Conditions and applies to all visitors, registered users, invite recipients, API consumers, affiliates, and community participants.

1. Scope & agreement
By accessing BetGenie — including dashboards, signals, parlays, ratings, paper tracker, admin tools, and any future chat or video features — you agree to follow this AUP. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update this policy; material changes may require renewed acceptance at login.
2. Lawful use
Use BetGenie only for lawful purposes. You may not use the Service to:
- Promote or facilitate illegal gambling, unlicensed sportsbooks, or underage betting
- Engage in fraud, money laundering, identity theft, or payment abuse
- Harass, threaten, dox, or discriminate against others
- Distribute hate speech, extremist content, or material that exploits minors
- Violate export controls, sanctions, or applicable gaming regulations in your jurisdiction
3. Educational platform — not a sportsbook
BetGenie is an educational betting intelligence platform. We provide analysis, simulated (paper) tracking, and research tools — not real-money wagering. You may not represent BetGenie as a sportsbook, tipster service guaranteeing wins, or financial advisor. Any real-money gambling you choose to pursue elsewhere is solely your responsibility.
4. Account integrity
- Provide accurate registration information and keep contact details current.
- Do not share login credentials except where your plan explicitly allows team seats.
- Do not create multiple accounts to evade limits, trials, referrals, or enforcement actions.
- Do not impersonate BetGenie staff, moderators, partners, or other members.
- Do not buy, sell, or transfer accounts without written approval.
5. Technical restrictions
- No automated scraping, crawling, or bulk export beyond documented APIs and published rate limits.
- No reverse engineering, decompiling, or extracting proprietary models, scores, or data pipelines.
- No probing, scanning, or testing vulnerabilities without written authorization from us.
- No interference with servers, odds refresh jobs, pipeline automation, or other users’ sessions (including denial-of-service attacks).
- No circumventing geographic, plan-tier, role-based (RBAC), or feature flags.
- No unauthorized access to admin, operations, or internal analytics endpoints.
6. Data, signals & API use
Signals, BGS/BOS scores, DNA intelligence, parlay outputs, and odds displays are licensed for personal, educational use under your plan. You may not:
- Resell, republish, or redistribute our proprietary feeds as a standalone product
- Feed BetGenie outputs into a competing service without a written commercial license
- Present our data as your own without attribution where required
- Cache or mirror substantial portions of the Service to bypass subscription limits
Documented APIs, if offered, are subject to separate rate limits and terms.
7. AI & intelligence features
AI-generated explanations, replay narratives, and assist panels are probabilistic and may contain errors. You must not:
- Prompt or manipulate AI tools to produce harmful, illegal, or deceptive content
- Present AI output as guaranteed outcomes or financial advice
- Use automated bots to spam AI endpoints or exhaust shared inference resources
Verify material facts independently before relying on any model output.
8. Profiles, avatars & identity
User avatars are generated (e.g. DiceBear) — not uploaded photos. Do not select seeds or display names intended to impersonate others, display slurs, or depict illegal or sexually explicit content. We may reset avatars or usernames that violate community standards.
9. Community, chat & video
When chat rooms, game channels, or Jitsi watch parties launch, additional rules apply:
- Moderators required: Public chat and video rooms operate only with assigned moderators who may mute, remove, or ban participants for violations.
- Follow moderator instructions and room-specific rules posted at join time.
- No spam, pump-and-dump schemes, “guaranteed lock” solicitations, or unsolicited commercial DMs.
- No sharing of malware, phishing links, or non-consensual intimate imagery.
- No recording or rebroadcasting video sessions without consent of participants and moderators.
- Moderators and room admins must act fairly, avoid conflicts of interest, and report abuse to BetGenie staff.
We may suspend community access without refund for serious or repeated violations.
10. Content standards
Feedback, support messages, contact submissions, and any user-generated content must be respectful and accurate. Prohibited content includes spam, malware links, misleading “fixed game” claims, and content that infringes intellectual property. We may remove content and restrict accounts that harm community trust.
11. Commercial use, referrals & affiliates
Personal and standard plans are for individual educational use unless your agreement states otherwise. Reselling BetGenie data, white-labeling our signals, or operating a competing product fed primarily by our outputs requires a written commercial license.
Referral and affiliate activity must follow our Refer a Friend and Affiliates terms — including honest disclosure of your relationship with BetGenie and responsible-gaming messaging where required.
12. Responsible gaming
Do not use BetGenie to target vulnerable individuals or minors. If gambling affects your health or finances, seek help immediately. Visit our Responsible Gaming page for confidential helplines by state.
13. Reporting violations
To report abuse, suspicious accounts, or AUP violations, use our Contact form with topic Account or Bug or site error and include:
- Your username (if logged in)
- URL or room name where the incident occurred
- Description, screenshots, or timestamps if available
We review good-faith reports and may take action without notifying the reporter of outcomes when privacy requires it.
14. Enforcement & appeals
Violations may result in warnings, rate limits, feature restrictions, content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination. We may report illegal activity to law enforcement. Severe violations (e.g. exploitation of minors, fraud, credible threats) may result in immediate ban without prior warning.
To appeal an enforcement action, contact support with your username, the action taken, and why you believe it was in error. We aim to respond within 10 business days.
